Brocal Chords
Playing to their strengths, the Brocal Chords provide lush harmonies, electric smiles, and a chance for listeners to hear a plethora of pieces. Their comedic nature provides audiences with a joyful and exciting performance. The group expects to continue its success with more performances in the near future as well as potentially recording a record in the next year. The Brocal Chords would also like to express their greatest thanks to Jonathan Edgeton, who has arranged multiple pieces for them.

Sarah Bannon
At 23 years of age, classically trained mezzo-soprano Sarah Bannon has accomplished things others her age can only dream of doing. Throughout her life, she has always loved performing. Although she has previous experience in dance and clarinet, Sarah utilizes her vocal talent. Studying under Christine Fortner-Blanner, Professor of Voice at Drake University, she began to uncover her extraordinary talent. Sarah has performed with Cedar Rapids Opera for each of the last three years as young artist. This January, she also worked as Production Manager for "Frankenboy!, A Monsteropera", showcased by Cedar Rapids Opera for local schools in the area. Sarah has also performed multiple shows at the Des Moines Playhouse and Drake University as part of the Drake University Opera Theatre program. Although she is a music business professional, she is available for weekend events such as weddings, church services, and other similar opportunities. Sarah is also interested in pursuing professional opera chorus roles that are possible in addition to a full-time business career.
